The Association of Advanced Practice Psychiatric Nurses was founded in 1982. APPPN promotes excellence by providing a forum for advanced practice psychiatric nurses to exchange ideas, identify issues pertaining to advanced practice, and foster networking and professional visibility.
The association includes nurses from community settings, academia, institutions, hospitals and private practice. We have a lobbyist in Olympia and an aggressive agenda for the future. Belonging to this dynamic group celebrates, validates, and supports your advanced practice.
