Working for you in Olympia!
AAPPN’s Legislative and Rules committees, as well as our lobbyists, are working hard to protect your profession and the health of all Washingtonians.
Working in the state’s legislature’s “short session,” and facing an election year, results were mixed for bills which AAPPN supported.
Thank you to AAPPN members who attended Lobby Day in Olympia on January 25.
AAPPN lobbied for a number of bills during the 2023 legislative session. Many were signed into law. Some will have to wait another year.
If you are grappling with the proposed DEA rules, Telemedicine Prescribing of Controlled Substances When the Practitioner and the Patient Have Not Had a Prior In-Person Medical Evaluation, you are invited to utilize AAPPN’s new interactive webpage.
It’s been a busy 2023 legislative session. We’re supporting numerous bills expanding access to care and protecting the profession. What bills are volunteers advocating for?
