Practice Description

My practice centers on self awareness and the pursuit of mental healthiness/growth. Guiding beliefs:

-That life is sometimes messy and that therapy can help us find a meaningful existence amidst the challenges we face.

-That meaningful existence can only occur when self awareness and connection is cultivated

-That getting mental health care takes courage, that we honor by striving to see and understand people.

-That curiosity without judgement opens the door to being known – both by others and ourselves.

-That the journey to mental health can only occur when we partner together while at the same time acknowledging that resistance is an informative, useful part of the process of change

-That in order to truly honor who we are, we must honor diversity in every form.

-That compassion toward ourselves is the basis for compassion toward others, manifesting in the values of equity and justice.
