
Amendments to clarify preceptor rules and reduce barriers for nursing student access to preceptors take effect on April 26, 2019.
Washington State Nursing Quality Assurance Commission proposed amendments to the rule concerning preceptors. The amendments provided rule clarification and reduced barriers for nursing student access to preceptors for the purpose of completing clinical experience. After public comment, the proposed rules were adopted and will become effective on April 26, 2019. Download a copy of the adopted language (PDF).
