A message for the Federal Advocacy Committee
We wanted to share a positive update regarding the new Department of Education (DOE) rule concerning the classification of professional degrees.
The American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) has been challenging the new DOE rule in federal court. In a recent decision, the court granted preliminary relief, allowing the challenged provisions to be temporarily paused while the litigation continues. While this is not a final ruling, it represents an encouraging development in the case.
For more information, please see the AANP press release.
