What does the future hold? It would be foolish to presume to know, whether talking about society or our profession.
One thing is certain. AAPPN will only be as resilient as our members. We’re already preparing for the possibilities. There is a role for you.
AAPPN is about creating community. At the moment, that means a virtual community. However, we will re-start our in-person Chapter meetings, Salons, and Member Mixers when public health conditions allow.
AAPPN is about career cultivation. We have re-scheduled our annual conference for November 14. We are excited to explore the topic of treatment-resistant depression with a roster of top-notch presenters.
AAPPN is about protecting the profession. Our volunteers and lobbyists have been active as the temporary regulations have been enacted. More changes are expected in the near future, either through Department of Health rules or state legislation beginning in January 2021.
What role would you like to play? We appreciate your dedication to AAPPN and to your profession. Explore how you can take part in your professional association.
We look forward to working with you not only to get through the current crisis, but to continue to build a rich, dynamic professional community for many years to come.
