About the speakers
Lindsey Miller, ARNP, is a board-certified PMHNP, who specializes in the evaluation and management of behavioral and emotional challenges commonly experienced by children and adolescents, including attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, autism spectrum disorder, anxiety, and mood disorders.
Lindsey is the program director and supervisor of the Seattle Children’s Psychiatry Advanced Practice Provider Fellowship. She joined the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine at Seattle Children’s in 2008, and has worked across multiple sites of care, including the Seattle Children’s Autism Center and the Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine Unit.
Gary Stobbe, MD, is a Board Certified Neurologist sub-specializing in cognitive behavioral neurology. He joined the University of Washington School of Medicine faculty in 2008 and is currently Clinical Professor with a dual appointment in the Departments of Neurology and Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.
Dr. Stobbe serves as Director of Adult Services at Seattle Children’s Autism Center, as Medical Director of the UW Medicine Adult Autism Clinic, and as Director of the Adults and Elders Program at the University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities at UW. In addition to his 30 years of clinical work, Dr. Stobbe has extensive experience in clinical research including pharmacological trials, and provides a variety of training and education opportunities including as a Hub Team member for ECHO Autism Washington and ECHO IDD Wraparound.
Heather Buzbee, MSN, CPNP-PC, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified nurse practitioner, dual certified in pediatric primary care and psychiatric-mental health. Her practice is focused on supporting children, youth, and young adults with mental health concerns in a public health setting. Heather became an Autism COE in 2019. She enjoys working with neurodiverse children and youth and precepting nurse practitioner students.
Heather serves on the AAPPN Education and Community Health committees. She is the most recent past Washington chapter NAPNAP president. She is also a psychiatric consultant for the Washington DOH pediatric mental health equity group.
